I posted this on Lodden vales TRF site. All are welcome, esp Oxford TRF. Stick your name down if interested. Need to limit it to about 5 or maybe 6 really.

So just to be clear the next one is Monday July 1st.

I don't know if there's any interest in this but I will post it up and lets see what happens...

I took Candice and Dene to a little bomb hole I know (err well actually Ela knew) as C wanted to learn a bit about down hills and get her confidence up. And Dene is of course just a freeloader.

Any how it was great fun and I thought C was doing well until she tried a few ambitious drops at the end and failed miserably. She did promise to go away and practice tho'.

Now I cant promise you the best skills will be transferred - you have to pay for that sort of tuition - but I can pass on the basics so I thought if there was some interest I'd see if a few people wanted to join in on say Monday evenings after work, make the most of the summers evenings and have a bit of fun together. If we can get a few of the newbies out it will be a laugh, I'm sure.

Anyhow next Monday's "masterclass" has been set by Dene. Uphills.

So if you want to improve your technique, stick your name down below.

Meet will be 6.30 at the car park of the Bull at Streatley. If anyone knows somewhere with some killer hills - let me know.

There will be a venue change for this - likely to be Ashdown woods and i suspect a small fee. I'd hope the farmer will go for £5 each but that's not guaranteed. Having a few of us committed to going to get the ball rolling will help.

The good thing about Ashdown would be that we could really open things up a bit and we could cover lots of different techniques in a very appropriate environment.

Anyone in?

Or if you know of a bit of suitable land we could use that opens up options - pm me....
