Hi gang,

I was wondering if the more "IT" advanced than me can help. I subscribe to a music site where I download music and all the mp3 files are stored in a download folder. They are not stored in "My Music".

I have just bought myself the new Apple 30gb ipod and I cant seem to transfer the folders to the itunes software. This means I am having to load every one of my cd's into the drive and rip them to the itunes library. This is taking ages and was wondering if there was a quicker way of doing it?

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Right then.

Itunes open,

File - Add File (or folder) to libary

Works for me, have you got the most up to date itunes software.?

If you still struggle go to this website

http://www.versiontracker.com/macosx/

It is the unofficial ipod ripping and itunes updating software. A mate of mine who works at the Apple store swears by it.

Basically has everything you need including riping music FROM ipods to your itunes.

Hope it helps, Nick :thumb
