travelling Ireland question

Can put up the Mapsource file here if anyone is interested to look at it or comment on it.

Yes please

Oops! sorry I cannot... route file too big to attach, anyone wants it pm me with an e-mail address.

However the waypoint file I have created to make the routes is small enough to attach.
Might need some corrections here an there as its not completed fully yet. Comments welcome.

I've been trying to do a wee trip around Ireland for about 2 years now.. i was allowing 7-10 days or i'd miss loads of stuff.. my big thing is I want to enjoy the trip.... and good weather was/is essential for me (no point in travelling round the country if the place is wet dull and depressing) so i was waiting for a nice bit of a weather forecast before setting off... and this just hasn't happened:D

1) Forget about the midlands.
2) I would be up for a "Long way around the coast" if we organised a group.

I don't think we do enough rideouts here in the west, we should do one at least every 2 months. What is the opinions ?

picking on the midlands again have ye no shame:augie:augie
i would be on for the coastal run and being in the midlands the west is not that far away.:thumb
as aidan would say you orginise a run and i will come:thumb2

As a Dubliner who does not use the city much, it depends what type of holiday you want. I agree it is a great city but very congested.

We live south of Dublin and use Wicklow aka the Garden County, as our main riding area. Wicklow would be a good staying point with Wexford, Waterford and Kilkenny plus a quick nip to Dublin for a short stay in Ireland.

I plan on arriving to Ireland via ferry to Cork and need a suggestion/reccomendation. Could I stay in Dublin and get to all the good bits of Ireland? I plan on spending 3 nights and then leaving to Douglas via Belfast. If I stayed in one place I wouldn't have to de-camp every night and I think that would be plus. Currently loooking at staying at Gogarty's in Dublin 6-9 June. I've never been to Ireland and I'm really looking forward to this trip. If not Dublin, where?

if your heading Kilarney way I MIGHT PUT YOU UP, IF YOU GIVE ME NOTICE I MIGHT EVEN GET SOME GRUB AND BOOSE IN, DONT CALL DURING THE WEEKEND AS IM UP THE AIRY MOUNTAIN AND DOWN THE RUSHY GLEN,
