Here's one of GJ showing how it should be done.

And here's one of me showing how it should'nt be done.
GJ's feet are full on the pegs, legs bent, knees facing slightly outwards and in full control even though the bike's nearly vertical.
I only have the balls of my feet on the pegs, which is how I ride on a road bike, legs are bent but knees facing inwards and I'm staring at the front wheel. I should have the legs more bent and further apart, more weight over the back wheel and, once I've picked my line,I should be letting the front wheel make it's own way there.

Here's another good one, this is buddy Ian who's a mate of GJ's and organised the day. Ian, until recently when the wife told him to slow down, raced Enduro KTM's in the Expert classes. And it shows.....flat out at everything.:D
Yes,they're tyre marks over the large rock to the right of the photie........and,if I'm not mistaken,a bootprint. One mark lost there, bud.

The bould Bob is still around. Still involved from an organisational point of view but doesn't appear to ride anymore. Very helpful he is too :thumb2

At least you know where you're going wrong so with a bit of application you should be able to correct it ;)
As opposed to me - I think I'm going great & then get a 3 nearly every time :(

I like your 'training ground' though :thumb2 I'm in the flattest part of Ireland & struggle to find even a ditch to practice in !
