Triumph Tiger Sport 800

1500 miles now. Full power available from 1000miles. Did a 600 mile weekend to Norwich. Seat comfort very good and getting over 60 mpg. Not ridden it for a couple of weeks but looking forward to a ride to Nottingham later this month for the test match and to Leeds in August, again for the test match. I'm sure that when the weather is ok (it's lashing down and blowing a gale today) there will be lots of other shorter rides.

Can anyone recommend pannier and top box inners? The Triumph ones aren't shaped for the panniers, just roll top bags. Google has not been my friend yet.
I found the tire pressure monitor a real pain, kept flashing up warnings when everything was spot on,very sensitive to changes in the weather.just something else to go wrong.

Must say Guys since selling my TS800 I went for a 2025 Africa twin adventure sport which was lovely but wanted something a bit more road biased so traded that in for a 2026 S1000XR which was as fast as you like but still not with out its problems so traded that for a 2026 R1300GS thinking best of both worlds !! well after that shit its self and went back for a full refund from BMW I bought another Africa twin adventure sport which I love, done 1500 mile tour around Wales in the pissing down of rain all good going to Spain on it in 3 weeks for 2 weeks and cant wait, but I do miss the weight of the TS800 and everything about the bike to be honest apart from the std screen and the dash is a but low budget, I will buy another one once those issues are addressed or if they make a 1000 or 1200 that would be worth a look I did buy the CB1000GT but cancelled it when there was no delivery date !!

I looked at the CB1000GT but realised I would be paying for performance I would never use. I wanted to move away from adventure bikes as I struggle to get my leg over following my back injury, fnar, fnar.
TS800 dash is poor but I can live with that. A nice TFT would increase the appeal massively. I have fitted an MRA Vario screen which sorts the buffeting but is still quite noisy, but I always wear earplugs and can cope with it.
3 months after buying it I can't see a bike I would prefer. I can live with its faults, while loving the performance, economy, comfort and practicality. It makes me smile when I open the garage.
