Was listening to Manx Radio the other day, and a police officer was being interviewed about dangerous/drink driving on the island. I thought I heard him say that in the last week - one rider had been convicted, jailed for 6months, and had a 6yr ban?

Anyone else hear that one?

If correct - the fella must have collapsed when that sentence was handed down!

The sentencing here is much tougher than UK Al. 3 x Limit = Jail normally

Apparently lost a wheel nut, spectators saw it, told a Marshall who presumably radio'd it forward hence the black flag. Possibly saved a catastrophic crash.

Yes. Shame it was a bit disjointed. WIDELOAD, Edward and Bakerman left early on as they had other engagements, Jim Bryan , Piebaps and I turned up in "Civvies" and we spent too much time waffling to each other and Paul Young , that i'm afraid that we did not "mingle" and catch up with the other Tossers. Shame Moo didn't make it as she'd have made sure we all knew who was who.
