In terms of "meets" I am not the one to ask as this is my first TT..but...I am happy to suggest perhaps the Raven in Ballaugh on the Monday night of race week? 7.30pm? How would that suit?

Wideload/Ben/Dave/CarolandGeoff/PeterandBarbara....and everyone else...what dya reckon guys?

or The Liverpool Arms -- as someone else has suggested? on the 7th....
lets make a decision before the end of the week so that people who are coming for practice week aren't left in the lurch not knowing....

my mobly is 07624 489776 for anyone who might want to pop in for a cuppa in Kirk Michael....

see ya soon,
Moo x

PS I have written to the powers that be -- TWICE--(by the way) to ask if we can have "The Isle of Man" added to the North West site list...but have been completely ignored!!! I guess you have to be in with the "in" crowd!!:augie:hide

HEAR HEAR,I wish to be associated with the comments of the previous speakers.I can come to pretty well any meet up.I am over from 31/5 to 10/6. I met up with a few Tossers on the Sunday Ride-Out at Llangollen and would like to put a few more faces to names.

Ok, it seems like we've got a consenus for a meet-up at the Raven in Ballaugh at 7.30pm on Monday 4th June. Then, when we get kicked out, we can go back to Wideloads for "tea & crumpets"...

Best get some beer in, Chris... ;)

Shall we set this in stone...?

if you are down in Glen Wyllin on a GS with L IOM TT on your plates...we have spotted you already!!

see y'all soon.....Moo x

Details duly loaded onto Phone Calender-Me'n'Technology, a SCARY combo !!
Have a look at my threads in "Show us Yours", 1/ 1200 Moto GS and 2/ Rich Art Knighter/Arai Tour X . If you spot either on the Island,i won't be far away.

Good for me!

Now the bike is actually back on the road (see other 1200 thread - dropped valve) all I have to do now is find the camping stuff. Moo - will be going from Kirk Michael campsite. Will phone between Friday and Monday night if you wanna ride over for 7.30pm?

Neil

Just checked, and I still appear to here at home in sun-less and persisting rain in Bournemouth (acclimatizing ourselves to Manx weather) so it cannot be us :D :D

(We're not due over until next Tuesday evening, and for the first time staying in Douglas - well for the TT anyway)

See you there........................

Usual conditions apply - now in social engagements diary BUT 2 sons may not want to hand about with t'old man.

Hang on - this year they are on their own bikes so they can get on with it!!:thumb2

Don't know yet about other rallies / meetings but Monday at the Raven - never been there before. :nenau :nenau

Could someone post a map? - GPS co-ordinates? - wheres the nearest main road:rolleyes:

Honey, make your way to Kirk MIchael from Ballacraine crossroads and keep on going. When you get to the humpback bridge in Ballaugh (the sign is obscured but it is the next proper village from KM) you can't miss the bridge...right in front of you is The Raven on the right hand side.
You can meet us in KM at the school car park (on the way in just as you turn ionto the right hand bend) at 7pm if you like! Give me a bell,
Moo x

Follow the TT course in a clockwise direction and the Raven is the pub just after the first and only hump backed bridge you cross.:clap

IMHO -- you might be better coming round the course via West Baldwin?? its better to go with the nutters than against them!!

Laxey - back of the Creg - Hillberry - West Baldwin past the reservoir - down to the back of The Raven.:thumb2

Great road with spectacular views across to Ireland on the way down to Ballaugh and great sunset if its not p*ssing down - which I have known it to do before now:augie :augie :augie
