Turnsignals wont stay on....

Hello!


When i was out driving today....the first day after a long winter....i noticed that my turnsignals didn´t stay on when i released the button. It was ok as long i held the button in, but when i released it...the turnsignal didn´t wanna play anymore! It´s the same thing on both sides.

The only thing i did with the bike this winter, besides normal service, was to put on Oxfords heatgrips. They were connected directly to the battery as mentioned in the instructions. They have a separate fuse built in, so i can´t imaging the heatgrips to be the problem...or could it?

Haven´t checked the fusebox on the bike yet. Does anyone have a clue to this problem?

hmmm....no, wish it was that simple

could there be corrosion on the connectors? I've had problems with mine not staying on / flashing correctly. took all the indicator bulbs out, cleaned the contacts where the the bulb housing meets the wiring loom for the bike and it now all works fine.

What happens when you turn on the hazard flashers?.
Try reseating the flasher relay.

Checked the connectors...polished them up a bit and now everything works just fine! Goody! Thanks for your input!
