...... plus 15" tyre levers did the trick. ....
If mr_magicfingers aka Justin come's,... I demand you wear your mental purple top :]
You look like a movie staryou Raver!
Ok – there seems to have been a good take-up on this and it looks like there are too many to accommodate on just one occasion, so I’m happy to offer two dates at this stage.
I’ve got commitments for weekends before the 21st , (unless I can sweet talk the SWAMBO) but can do Wednesday 10th Feb for anyone who can make it on a weekday.
There’s a reasonable amount of space outside for work (if the weather’s ok), otherwise the garage – when I’ve tidied it up – is 12x24 so we won’t al be playing a huge manly game of sardines!
The project started off with tyres, so I guess that will be a pretty big part of what we can look at, together with actually getting the wheels off the bike, supporting it etc. While they’re off, we can also look at how to check the wheel bearings and change them if necessary.
Basic maintenance items to cover will include fluids (oil and cooling) brakes and how to check/change pads, chain adjustment, basic electrics, fitting accessories, blabla..
If there’s anything else specifically that peeps want to cover then let me know and I’ll include it.
She Who Must Be Obeyed has offered to do quidge’n’chips for a fiver a head, and the tea will be free if you make it yourself! Donations for the Air Ambulance Fund would be welcome but not mandatory..
All I need now is a list of names and the date you want!
Cheers
Greg

anyway less of the gushing and get to the question......."quidge"

The burning-man event is one of those boxes i have yet to tick]
It's going to get complicated.
I can't do the 20/21 at the moment - or if i could, i'd probably go to the Ace Cafe Overland Adventure meeting.
Early or end of Feb is good for me (7th or 28th)
I like Noel's idea of a donation to cover any costs you have and anything over goes to something like the Air Ambulance.
