I purchased my 07 1200 GS in January this year it came with Metzler tourance i have just replaced the rear after 4000 miles as i dont know how many miles it had done before i got the bike what should i expect from a Tourance rear?

Approx 6500-7000 miles is what I got time after time on my 1150. It does depend on your riding and how worn you are prepared to let it get.

I've just changed my rear after 7000 miles and it still had some life left in it. It could have gone to 10k - generally long haul touring ,miles.

That looks promising, i have always been a Michelin man might have to change my allegiance now.

I got about 7K from a Maxxis SuperMax rear touring tyre. But it was on the collar feeling side of thin when I changed it.

The TKC-70 will probably do about 5K miles. It's got a Trail Attack carcass so wears pretty well.
