2000 miles of very light use (solo; no motorways) and the rear was very squared off. By 3000 miles it was totally shot. Went back to Avon for inspection several weeks ago; no response from them.
For reference, I usually get 6-7000 miles from a rear (with a good bit of two-up, fully loaded touring).

What sort of mileage did you get from your tkc70's? Are they noisy at speed? Do they ware out funny? I'm considering these next for mine as I want something stable on gravely back roads.
My PR4 rear is buggered at 3k grips like fleck though ,but 3k is not good enough from a premium tyre.
