Is it that easy? :nenau

Cheers

Yup - let the tyre down (value at about 4 or 8 o'clock on the rim) - take out the centre of the valve using the valve cap tool they give you - pour stuff in - put valve back in, inflate tyre - done.

Peace of mind comes in tins marked plenty of backup
Ultraseal, but with a plug type repair kit with those handy little CO2 cylinders, plus a tin of tyre repair stuff, although if a tyre had a puncture, I would repair it just to "get Home" and then have tyre fixed professionally, if the damage was within reasonable safe limits

I travel to some places where it would take AA/RAC a day or two to get to you.

So I carry a pump, tyre leavers, patches, plugs, glue and tubes. For tubeless tyres. For tube tyres I leave out the plugs, and add more patches and glue. Even on trips where I could get help - I prefer to practice when the situation comes up.

I carry a couple of self tapping screws in the toolkit, ones with deep threads. I just put the puncture repair kit adhesive on the screw and screw it into the hole. Its worked a couple of seperate times when I had a flat on the way back from Wales. Then use the proper plug when I get home. A bodge job yes but it is quick when its pi$$ing down ;) .

Stopandgo tyre plugger for roadside repair with small 12volt pump.
If you take the tyre for repair and they have to change it don't forget that several bikes with tubed wheels (eg.Triumph Tiger) use the same tyre. If there is a reasonable amount of tread left get the your old tyre back and give it/sell it to a friend

I'm with Hew...

Stopand go system is damned clever and works a treat. Air pump is the (tiny) guts of a compressor I bought on a garage forecourt for £2.99 - tiny, works well.
