Anyone fotted one size bigger tyres to standard rims? ie 150/17 and 100/21??

I am about to fit the 150/17 TKC on my rear wheel, don't foresee a problem with it........yet
Not sure what is on the front will check and let you know Dom. How is the bruises healing

All healed -just some redness left that the Bio Oil is sorting out

Have you fitted the 150 yet??
Ermmm nope had to squeeze out another 250 miles from the TKC, not bad now well over 6k miles done on it
I hope to get to it this weekend although pretty much booked up helping family move etc 
Would rather be out and about riding the lanes this weekend!
I finally got around fitting the new TKC80 on last night. The 150 fits like a glove no problem and all clearances etc still well within limits. The only possible problem you might have is that the bike is now ever taller so for a short arse like myself it becomes ever more difficult to get my toes on the ground
The TKC I took off covered 7794 miles
Now that is value for money

Good news - had conflicting reports whether it would fit. I have fitted a TKC 140 which is for some reason SAR600 cheaper than the 150 - go figure why a 150 is a third more expensive here !???
Same story here Big Dom, £104 for the 150 and £72 for the 140
One of my mates had the set of tyres which I bought over from him else I would of stuck with the standard 140. I don't know whether the 150 is going to make any significant difference except for the height on the bike which is tall enough already How are you enjoying the beast so far?
Hi guys just out of interest sparked from another forum. What is the best mileage you guys got out of a TKC or Karoo for that matter. Just looked at the post of mine when I replaced the tyre with a 150. I am about to replace the tyre again 7 1/2 months later. My guess is it has done no less than 7000 miles

I have been unable to locate a TKC 140/17 on this side of the pond, so I run a TKC 150/17 and a Karoo 21 on the front. No problems.
