Just look for tyre reccomendations and last post is 3 years old , previous to that is 2004, not a lot of good at the moment i would have thought as i presume like all other areas there are new tyres every year? got metzelers on mine and i posted a question about tyre choice on here the other day and i cant even find it now.:flag

tyres

...What the question was?

Did it have anything to do with tyre mileages?

What do you want to know?

We are here to help. :augie
cheers for answering,i would like decent mileage anything over 6 rear wouldnt be bad, i run an aprilia rsv r as well so used to not getting lots of miles, different ball game though, i use pirrelis on that and im happy wih them. I have used metz in the past and they seem to be grippy enough , it has metz on at moment[ the bee em]. so should i keep using them [ie when i change the tyres] not bothered about going of road [not puspossely anyway] ta in advance Big Jessie:bounce1

I have only managed 5K per rear on my GSA, this with Dunlop (Roadsmart) and Bridgestone (Battlewings). Trying out Continental (Trail Attacks) but too soon to tell.

Just a thought but maybe you've posted it in the wrong section much like the moan about our subscription charges in an earlier post :) You do know this is for newbies introduction area?

I'm more than happy to search for it if it helps you :nenau

edit: Here you go, found your post and the thread : http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=239011&page=4

A bit of help just in case for future reference. If you go to your user profile, click on 'posts made and trawl down, it'll whizz you straight over next time if you click on the bold thread header.

Have a practise at it. It should help. :) In the meantime I'll leave this thread here until you;ve signed in to view, then I'll move it over where it should be in the forum for you where you'll get a better response to your question.

Or maybe you could do some research and post a new updated thread of your own ... now there's an idea :)
