I have had 3 sets of Metzler Z6 2 sets on a R1100RT and a set on my 1150GS
as most of my travel is 99% is road based I find they are good in wet and even better in the dry.

I have the Battlewings running atm, already there for about 15k km. In dry and very wet conditions never had a problem with them. 95% tarmac
parelli scorpions on my standard wheels bt21 on my alloys,no problems.

FWIW you can get a pair of Michelin Anakee 2 tyres to fit the 1150GS from Costco for about £140. I've read that they are a good tyre with much improved wear rates and grip over the Anakee 1. I'm going to give them a go.
