Tyres in the South West

Can anyone recommend a good tyre supplier in Cornwall or Plymouth area. My 2012 GSA is ready for some new boots.

I'd buy online, James sherlocks, busters, there are lots of sites, heck ebay even. The find a pro tyre (used by BMW) shop as they have a single sided balancer and voila... I pay the one in marsh Barton, Exeter, 15 quid per tyre fitted, new valves, balanced and old carcass taken.

The Gloucester branch supplied & fitted a set of Michelin PR3 Trail for £215 all in, once the £25 fuel card from Michelin was honoured.

I've had many tyres over the last 30 odd years from what is now Protyre aka Gupa-P tyres in Plymouth and can highly recommend them.

Great stuff, I now know who to go to locally which is a great help........now the choice of tyres!

I currently have Tourance exp fitted which feel great on the road, I have Just been to Valencia with the Mrs and the tyres were great but.....here is the real question:

What tyres would you recommend? 99% of my mileage is on Tarmac, I am going to Southern Morocco via Spain in October and plan some of the higher passes on my trip, when I return it will be autumn heading for winter. I often ride 2 up with luggage and cover 12000 miles a year. Finally the 1% off road is down a 500m green lane to my house which has ruts and is "gnarly" when wet ( a. Lot of the time in Cornwall) & is f@@@ing dodgy on Tourance, so people.....what would you recommend?
