I am thinking of changing to BT020s as I don't go off road. I would appreciate any advice particularly compared to Tourance.

I am running Mich Pilot Road on my GS great road handling ( check out my Avatar ). I have them on my GSA now and roundabouts are great fun.
The difference from the Anklees that were on is the Pilots are much less forgiving on West of Ireland Gravel strewn back roads. The bike would skid a bit just like any road bike would. The Intermediate tyres have a bit more side wall flex and tend to dig in better.
But for 100% road I guess road tyres are the best option.
I do not think there is any difference between the 020's and the Pilots.

If you are strictly on road then the 020's are terrific in wet and dry, only probelm is I only get about 3.5k from a rear but the grip makes them worthwhile.

Can't comment on GS fitment but I have run 020s on numerous road bikes, I find that they are an expensive tyre but as Mika says good wet and dry grip but at the cost of longevity. I bought them primarily because they were so good in cold conditions, don't think I would fit them to my GS though.

Horses for courses I suppose.

Fitted Continental Road Attack to my previous GS, and found them to be an excellent road tyre choice :thumb

Not sure what to replace the Tourances on my 1150 GSA with either.
It would be Road Pilot 2s if they made one to fit.

Has anyone any experience of the Tourance 2, I know it 's not the same transition to a proper road based tyre, but is it any quicker at turning into corners than the old Toutance ?h
