A wee bit too ‘kin close to me for comfort ….Just up the road from me too
I could be tempted by this. Location is not too much of a problem but finalised date could be a decider.
Only just noticed this @Wapping, unfortunately in October and September/November we shall be enjoying autumn warmth in Spain in our wobbly box. That’s a shame as it would have been good to have a catch up.
If still looking for locations, you might want to check out Tuckers grave. It’s not exactly centrally located, but to its credit it’s a cider house with food, plus live entertainment most weekends. No hard standing but they have a huge fire pit, plenty of space for tents, caravans, campers, and wobbly boxes.

It has hard / soft standing / electricity
It accepts tents as well as wobbly boxes. Tenters, welcome!
It has showers etc

It accepts club members and non-members

There is something wrong with the club’s website. It’s saying that my reservation for October 2026 is outside of members’ 18 month advance booking. I guess their calendar is up the spout.
I called the chimps, who made the booking over the phone for me.
Cost? About £20 a night, large motorhome, firm standing, electricity etc. 25% deposit paid.

Cracking site by the side of the cut, pub right next door and another about a 15 min walk into the village, pub on the cut does food but can get busy.
Enjoy! I'm afraid I am at a beer festival on the Friday and gigging on the Saturday, otherwise I would have been keen to join you. I shall keep an eye out for any further Wobble Box events...

I hope there will be some more, not least as the Soft Shandy Drinkers’ winter specials go well and, I know, other more northern events.
Maybe we could do one, over the Channel in ‘27?
