The problem is the Beta-blockers to stop the A-fib.
Even spending a hour or so walking round Costco was enough to start off palpitations, then I need to sit down for 30-40 min's to recover.
No help or advice from the NHS, just left on my own to try and sort it out

I am happy to bring my gas Webber BBQ, patio gas canister, tables, light, wood burning braai (and wood) which I am happy to make available to everyone.

Let’s do a headcount after the weekend and see what’s what.

I assume (always dangerous) that the site will let us have a braai type fire, providing it doesn’t burn the grass.

Jaffa cakes and illicit liquor….. who could possibly say no?

I will certainly be going (arriving on Friday afternoon) and will bring my gas BBQ, patio gas bottle, light, wood braai, BBQ utensils. These I am happy to share for the common good.

Sorry but due too my unfortunate heart attack on the 4th July.
I am still having problems with the pump and have had two stays in hospital.
Resus department is not a place you want too be too often...!!

So i am out....but alive as i type this...

The paramedics/staff at NHS Exeter University Hospital are wonderfull and compassionate...

With all the drop outs, I’m wondering whether it’s worthwhile doing this?

I will definitely be bringing the braai, the wood (which I forgot when we did the last ‘Soft Shandy Drinkers’ event) and assorted gas powered BBQ’s.

Everyone is free to make use of the BBQ’s and braai. Just bring whatever you want to cook.

PS I have made a note to bring some method of lighting the wood, too!
