unconnected plug ?

I’ve just noticed an unconnected black plug with 2 wires going in to it. 1 red, 1 black just under fuel gauge and the left indicator
Can’t seem to find any other connection and every thing seems to be working fine.
Any ideas what this connection could be for.?
