under seat mess...identify a plug 2005 r1200gs

as you can see this plug has a disconnected wire....any ideas as to what its for...

what a mess

previous owner must have had vest..radio..autocom....want to remove all this but have aux lights so want to keep them...
might get an auto electrician to have a look....

Aux power socket perhaps

Can you not snip the various cable ties and chase the wires back.
If as you suggest some are for various auxiliaries no longer I'm sure you can tidy it up just by removing those bits. Also the Aux lighting should be pretty easy to chase down from the fuse panel and from the lights themselves.

im off up to hilltop tomorrow and then ive got monday and tuesday off work...ill spend some time going thru the wiring see what i can do..
