Hear, hear.

Could somebody please explain to me WHY they have edecided to only fly the British flag on certain dates. Maybe it will help me understand the issue. So far all I hear is a British provenence stops flying the flag.
Serious discussion here please.

It's standard practice everywhere else in the UK. The union flag is only flown on specific dates over every town hall and public building in the UK.

The whole debate is covered quite well on politics.ie if anyone wants to get involved.

seems to have upset the savages :hide

I have heard our roads, lanes, boreens and certain alchoholic beverages, described as savage, but I doubt very much that my Irish biker friends, or my fellow countrymen, irespective of what flag they want to fly, are savages.

Didn't Oliver Cromwell hail from Huntingdon?????????????????????
