Unlocking maps for 2 units

I've just bought a 2610 through the GPSW deal.

As I only had V7 Map source City Select,I've uploaded the City Nav V8 DVD that came with the 2610 ( I know I could have waited for V9 ( if I don't register).

So anyway,I have got the 2610 up and running,but I still want to use the Quest.

The thing is,when I connect the Quest to the new Mapsource containing V8,it says the maps are not unlocked for this unit.

I thought you could have up to 2 units using the same maps.

How do I unlock these new maps to use on my Quest as well as the 2610 ?

I had a look in the Garmin site FAQs but they are useless.

If you sign into your MyGarmin account:-

https://my.garmin.com/mygarmin/customers/myGarminHome.faces

Select 'Mapsource Unlock'

In the right hand column select 'Unlock Additional GARMIN Unit'

Enter your unit's serial number (I think this should be the 2610's one) and you should get a second unlock code for your Quest.

I haven't had the need to try it myself so I hope it works!

I managed it by fiddling round with the Unlock Wizard.
