Update on dodgy indicators ...

Because the rear indicators are the new fangled all in one lights brake lights and indicators and the fact that the fault when it occurs ( when trying to indicate left) shuts down all the rear lights on both sides the bike is technically illegal to ride so would need recovering to a dealer

Any way i phoned KTM assist this morning at 0745 and a lovely chap was with me at 0835 which on the face of it is quite impressive but this turned out to be the motorcycle equivalent of NHS triage.
He couldn't fix it

However we have a plan that seems to be acceptable to me and the nearest decent KTM dealer ( judd racing) the KTM assist report will say it needs a new indicator under warranty

Judd Racing will post one out to me and its a 30 second job to replace - well maybe 5 minutes as its one bolt and a plug and play type connector.

More than happy with that
 
KTM will not deal with this under warranty unless the bike is physically at a KTM dealer

This means effectively having the bike recovered from home to the dealer some 50 miles away as it cant legally be ridden with no rear lights/ brake lights etc AFAIK.
There it will sit for a few days awaiting parts and workshop time then i will have the ball ache of getting it back

Simple solution to save time and effort is to buy a new one and fix it myself

cost £48 which in time and effort scales against warranty is for nowt
