After having the FPC pack in at 80mph in the fast lane of the M1 last weekend, Just had a call from Roy Gardner to say that there is nothing wrong with the clutch slave cylinder. However, the gearbox oil seal is leaking and has probably contaminated the clutch.
The bike is just under 3 years old with 14000 miles on the clock.
I will be on the phone to bmw motorrad looking for a goodwill gesture as soon as I am able.
I have had nothing but trouble with this bike. Would it be ethical to sell with the seal weeping if BMW dont do the decent thing?
I will probably never buy another BMW after the problems I have had, and I am sure my friends in my local biking fraternity will not buy a BMW either.

) is the quote, not the invoice, which included the clutch work. Trying to decipher and seperate out the seal work, it looks like 252 +VAT for the labour plus about 20 quid for the seals...
