Ok, I have mechanical dyslexia so please, bear with me.
The bike is a 2005 1200 GS. It's fitted with an Akrapovic can (not full system) and K&N filter which have been on for some time (2000 miles).
So, today I'm riding back from work and the bike starts popping (much more than normal) on the overrun. Then I notice in traffic that it sounds more like my old CCM Supermoto.....
At the next set of lights I turned it off and on again and there were no warning lights showing and it started fine.
On the next bit of the trip I noticed that the engine braking has been reduced by about 50%.
I sat astride the bike (at a stand still) and opened the throttle a few times and noticed that the bike was physically moving to the right (I hope readers can understand). It was rocking to the right and almost leaning towards the right.....
As I said, I can turn a spanner and follow instructions but I really am a bit of a biff when it comes to these engine things.
Hope someone can help.
Tim
