URGENT help please

Guys

I am about to set off for Morocco sorting through paper work, double checking I have noticed that I only have the new keeper section of my V5. I moved during last year and my log book was sent off when I re taxed it in April. It has not crossed my mind since.
If I contact DVLA can i get a new one sorted or what should I do? I don't sail until Saturday any ideas?

I had a similar problem, I'd just bought the bike and was off to Germany within the month.
If you have the new owners slip, you can go to the local DVLA office, and they can issue you a temp registration document that is valid for 6 months. I went to the one in Theale (near Reading) and was in and out in 30mins. Might be worth phoning DVLA first due to the long time without V5
