USB device not recognised????

Hi all,

everytime I turn on my laptop... HP Pavillion.. it comes up with this message.

It tells me to plug in the device I have all the devices plugged in and they all work. Printer, scanner, wireless mouse.

How can I remove this message? I am running windows vista.

Thanks for the link....

That was some serious reading. However, I seem to have fixed it by going into device manager and removing the driver for what ever it was I hooked up and now don't use

Seems to be a big problem with XP but maybe they sorted it with Vista.
