USB sticks

Right I am trying to transfer my maps from pc to mac all converted and compressed
I have emptied a 4Gb USB stick and tried to put 1.89 Gb on it and the pc is saying I am 1.89 Gb short but the bloody thing is empty
what's going wrong pls

Have you emptied the bin on the computer..?

Better still, Format the USB stick, that way it'll be EMPTY

I emptied it on my mac not empire trash though
does it tie files in then?
It's saying it's empty on the pc
is there a format file on it's tool bar ????

Right, stick the USB drive in the Mac.

If there's anything on it, move the files to the Trash.

Empty the Trash.

Go to the Utilities folder (in Applications).

Find 'Disk Utility'

Highlight the USB drive.

Erase disc...
