Shit happens. It's not Coopers fault.
How old is the battery?
Why should anyone expect a worse service and a shit attitude off a garage because the vehicle has Two wheels I have rode bikes for over 40 years and drove for way over 30 I rebuild classic bikes so im no moron I dont feel its to much to ask on a service that costs over£200 that the battery is checked, its idiots like you that except poor service and shit attitude that makes it worse for everyone
Look to round this up, you may be right i know batteries can just let go, but as the garage is on the way home from work i went in to question if it had been checked in my service which was only 13 days before, i did not go in with a bad attitude but what i realy got annoyed with was the shrug of shoulders and the just go away i can't be arsed attitude when i told the guy on the service reception what had happened, if people never say anything or just ask a simple question nothing will ever get any better how some people arrive at its the customer with a shit attitude makes me question the independance of some of the answers on here it's like a them and us thing ( which it should'nt be ) the end result is that i am after buying a new RT early next year and it defo wont be from Coopers as their after sales service is shocking it may not be the biggest thing to them but if i had anything to do with the company i would want to know about issues and to see if they could be resolved.
The bike is two and a half years old 15,700 miles on clock fully serviced and kept on a battery maintainer it may be me but i would expect the battery to last a bit longer if they don't last longer maybe it would'nt be a bad idea for the garage to give a quick checkduring a service.
I rest my case your honour.
so how do you think a battery should be checked? do you think there is some magic tool to check battery's that is better than pressing the start button?
your case is weak, battery maintainers are well known for killing battery's if kept on long term!
"Tong" tester?
Maintainers are more likely to mask a weakening battery condition - than "kill" it

lying bastards NEVER AGAIN.In Nov last year you posted this about Coopers:
A total bunch of ignorantlying bastards NEVER AGAIN.
And then you take your bike for a service in June 2014??
Let's say that you had a go at them in 2013 to reach your previous conclusion. Then in 2014, your Battery packs up and you pop in for another go - and the manager doesn't want a chat - what a surprise!
Can someone please comment on the disadvantages of toe sucking.
