Usual Coopers Sunderland crap

Read some of my previous posts about them, time and time again I gave them another chance but sooner or later enough is enough, you wonder how such an unprofessional bunch of clowns can keep a franchise but it continues.
I voted with my feet and wallet and would rather travel an extra 65 miles to a decent dealer, Coopers lost two new bike sales because of their attitude (£29,000 plus) and no way would I ever go back to them and spend my money

As you say yes i had a go last year it was when i had just bought the bike and within a couple of miles an oil warning light was on to which i took it back and had to leave it for repairs and yes i was a bit peed off ( who wouldn't be ) they were ignorant on that day and i did feel never again but with time and no other nearby dealers hey ho a second go maybe they have got better and put my bike in for a service. As stated it wasn't so much to have a go as you say but to ask, yes i wasn't pleased but i didnt go in to cause trouble it seems that a lot of people on here struggle with the idea of someone just asking questions but the way in which they dealt with lets say the question was with sheer ignorance again if i am wrong about something i'm wrong and thats ok but just to be shrugged off and ignored i feel is wrong i may be lucky as i have never had service like this before either from a car dealer or bike dealer but in future i wont go back as to reward ignorance would in fact be ignorant

Don't want to do a Schtum here :augie, but if your verbal communication is as poor as your written communication you might consider that it could be a contributing factor in your unhealthy relationship with the dealership in question. 'Pausing for breath occasionally' might be a good maxim to follow...in real life as much as in your virtual one on here. :D

I suspect the "shit attitude" you refer to was in this case that of the customer. I had 30 years experience in the motor trade and can testify to the unbelievable nature of some "complaints" Once had a phone call to complain about getting a puncture two months after we serviced the car! In my experience most genuine complaints get dealt with professionally at most places.

..

In their defence:
Iwas in contact with Coopers a while ago enquiring about a GSA which they had in,during that time one came up as a private sale which seemed like a good deal. Then I was re-contacted by Coopers salesman to see how my interest with their bike was progressing,I informed him of this other deal and rather than try and poo poo it he asked if I knew the reg no and proceded to HPI it for me and wished me all the best ,etc etc.Over and above the call,in my oppinion.

Thank god someone who knows what im on about cheers bud

[Hee hee love it :fridayQUOTE=JerseyNeil;3848619]Apparently it all went ary with coopers after they expanded. They should have stuck to manufacturing barrels............;)[/QUOTE]

Your brain is weak what i said was if there is a known and i say if ! you can check a battery to see if all is ok or is this beyond you but also i have said it was the attitude much more than the battery or is this beyond you as well

Ouch, I am now going off to cry :D

OK Coopers/Mill if you bought a secondhand bike from them paid a deposit and arranged a day to pick it up fully serviced then took a day off work and got a lift down would it be expecting too much for it
1. To be ready
2. to have been serviced

After f***ingabout for 6 hours would it be acceptable when you find they had

1. Dented the tank and then denied it
2. After less than 300 miles the rear pads were down to the metal
3. When the front pads were checked they were below 1.6mm
4. The bash plate it was an r1150 gs was seized on and when eventually removed the oil filter had written on it a date 12 months prior and had been changed at M and S.

Reason to complain perhaps ?

Bought a System 4 lid, they ordered it in, I opened it in the parts department and it was damaged, appeared to have been dropped and they tried to refuse to exchange it saying it wssn't their problem.

Later bought an early System 5, one of the faulty ones where the interior fell apart, they refused to accept a waranty claim on an almost new helmet blaming rider abuse and I had to get bmw uk to sort it out.

Later bearings bought from them and fitted by Mick Kendrick to the final drive failed after 700 miles, put in a claim for replacements as they have a 2 year warranty, Coppers claimed it only applied if they fitted them despite bmw having already confirmed they were warrantied. Again had to be sorted by bmw as Coopers threw the parts away rather than returning them to bmw as they were told and then said thye had never had the bits.

The demonstrator that was supposed to be run in had no miles on it was on trade plates and almost unrideable due to severly underinflated tyres and levers set upso the cluth lever was hitting the top of the handguard but the front brake lever was hiting the lower edge of the handguard. That was the last chance they got from me

I fear you are confusing dealers with the morning ritual of sleeping firepersons.

Nah it's always tea! Coffee takes too long and we could be out the door before it's brewed

Lots of burnt toast at old peoples homes first thing :D
Don't worry too much though as Boris has already got rid of 500 fireys and ten stations Best you get an extinguisher then
