Uvex helmet

Anyone got one,helmet city are doing some deals on them but being new to adventure riding although on the road looking for a new lid but can't stretch to the budget of arai or shoei are they any good I know you get what you pay but looking for something that's middle of the road for mainly summer rides. Thanks

better than the tour-x in some ways - weight, field of vision, no misting, quieter, peak is less prone getting caught by the wind.

worse in others - peak makes a creaking noise, and being ventilated is less use in avoiding the sun. although very well made in general, they should have anchored the nape pieces better. visors scarcer, though they are the same as the bmw enduro.

overall, i prefer it to my previous arai. i like the fibreglass uvex too. it has the advantage of a quick release buckle.

Ditto. Bought one of these a few weeks back and I'm very happy with it. I tried on the Uvex too which seemed nice, much better than the Airoh S4 I'd tried previously.
