So. Rear wheel on a V100 apparently is a 63mm nut.

An American company (GTM I believe) make this fab multi -use socket that looks fab, but at $99 plus postage plus tax it's way over £100!!!

Anyone found another solution???

Maybe Cymarc or similar could make a good UK version???

63mm is a nominal 2 1/2 " AF

Look for old sockets on eBay you should find something suitable
63mm = 2.480", so a 2.5" socket would be 0.020" or 0.5mm larger so yes it would fit but might be sloppy if an old worn socket 🤔

I believe it is 65mm which is same size as transit van hub nut. Plenty out there way cheaper than the one mentioned.

Will also need a breaker bar, probably 3/4 inch drive for socket and bar.

Not something you are likely to be carrying with you on the road so make sure you kitted up for punctures!

Hi Jazbee,
I have also found some 3/4 drive 63mm sockets online as well.
Not sure if you need bi-hex or if 6 point would work...

Looks like would do. I would be tempted to machine the outboard edge to get rid of the slight chamfer however. I've not done this job yet but that rear wheel nut is pretty shallow and you will be putting a lot of force on to it, definitely don't want the socket slipping off.
