After some thoughts on this one.

Just got my first Garmin this week '2610'. V pleased with it, fitted the the mount and power lead this morning.

So this afternoons job was to put the city navigator Europe V8 onto the computer.

The disc does not auto run, have followed the normal run- setup:exe route and again nothing.

Sign comes up saying "disc is not accesible"

I have tried on my laptop and myn girlfriend computer all with the same message.

Am i doing anything wrong or is the disc knackered?

If it is i need to get the unit mapped up asap for my Scotland trip in 2 weeks. So anyone got a contact at garmin that will reply?

You have got a DVD readrer haven't you? It's a DVD not a CD ROM.

Then you need to find a friendly local chap that'll split the DVD up into chunks and burn you CD's I guess. Reassemble back on your PC, the fingers crossed!
