Saw this advertised kind of locally and it caught my eye

It’s in a dealer being advertised for £6995

But I think it’s a typo as it jumps to £9995 when you open the ad

Now, assuming it’s £9995, even though it’s low mileage and got a full system, that still seems keen given that it’s in Jersey where they have only 4% (I think) GST rather than VAT and you can get a new 2024 in UK for less with VAT deducted

I assume the 2024 bike will be the unrated model, but I’ve always liked the yellow and white .

What are collective thoughts as to price and what you reckon it should be advertised at ?

69 is a steal, 99 is a bit high.

It should sit in the middle.

I’d say 8999 or close.

It is the best colour though :)

I was thinking £7999 without VAT

I don’t know the local market but that sounds a good deal.

Great bikes.

I had one in those colours. They are a lovely bike but you were always able to negotiate a decent discount on RRP, partly because they are a small volume seller in the UK, and partly I suspect because they are viewed as underpowered by the GS/KTM/Multistrada afficionados. I will be taking possession of a new one once the snow melts. :D

Very comfortable ride, simple air cooled twin, plenty of real world power, sounds great *especially with a nice can and decat exhaust. Bags of Guzzi character 👍

My old one is still available at the Dealership...
Whilst the V85TT was a fantastic machine, I do prefer my new V100 Stelvio...

Well I've had 6 V85's and they've all been cracking bikes. I currently own a VVT model and it is IMHO a marked improvement on the previous model. I ran it back to back with the new Stelvio for 6 months, with the intention of only keeping one of them. The Stelvio was a cracking bike but at the end of 6 months I decided the V85 was more suitable for me. There where just one or two areas where it was more rewarding to ride than the Stelvio.

Thanks but I’m done with buying bikes with crap suspension 😜
