Hopefully it won't need to happen - but any ideas what a 2011 Triple Black would fetch (now or come Spring)? 23k, full service, fully loaded...?

Shame, sorry to hear that

Easy come, easy go - moving house will improve our quality of life immeasurably, plus I've got the Husaberg for off road fun still.

If I can keep her I will - with her condition and spec I expect she'd fetch a little more if I wait for Spring. Appreciate the input :thumb2

i have the same bike on a 12-with 18k on it -was offered 6500 for it -better to wait 3 month

I do wonder if the late model TC's are becoming more desirable than early model LC's, for example I keep looking at RT's and the price of twin cam 2010-2013 RT's seems quite firm. I'd rather buy either a late TC or a new LC.

RBW.

£6000-£6500

This is a bit nearer the mark

Nah, they're so common now and being winter too

You can pick up a 13/14 1200GS WC for not much more now, privately

Why sell?

Where are these 13/14 1200GS WCs for not much more (than £6000-£6500) JB ?

A dealer will obviously off much less but privately I'd be advertising that for around £7400.

Sold my 2012 twin cam with 26000 m8les , panniers and a few other goodies a few months ago for £7500 , privately, sold too easily so must have been too cheap.

That's quite a bit more than 'not much more than £6K'

Not much more than £6500 though, if you nicked a 2013 WC for £7500 in Jan 18

He can ask what he wants for his TC, a buyer will either buy it or he won't......................so dunno your grouse???

No 'grouse' JB. You're very touchy. You're not very good at pricing 1150s to sell and you're clearly unaware of 1200 prices that's all :D

There are umpteen 12 GSA on ebay, so not hard to get the jist

If you are referring to my 1150 GSA, then I shall strip it and sell the goodies first and then sell the bike on ebay for a similar total price, in Spring

I was 'angling' for a decent price and if anyone bought it, then they would have got a good bike and me a decent amount

Not the place to sell a GS here, unless you want to get it knocked it down, by all and sundry..............ebay classified is the best tool

I'm talking about GS prices. You can add even more money for a GSA :D

Good luck with the sale of your 1150 :beerjug:

Sold a 2012 fully loaded TB with 23K during Nov 2016 for 7.5 Privately. Best offer to Px. from the dealers was 6.
GLWTS.

I've never really understood the time of year thing. When i get a bike i ride it all the time

But based on my own searches just 2-3 months back, i would have said 7-8k depending on its condition, mileage and accessories. Dealers were looking for roughly 8750 for 2010 TCs with 30k miles....
