Thanks for this as it does indeed include many of the smaller forts and emplacements. From that website, I managed (after a bit of digging around, as the link had broken) to find a website, the fellow had recommended:

It’s a labour of love by one couple Cedric & Julie Vaubourg to record as many of the French forts throughout France as possible.

It translates OK into English.

PS Whilst there are any number of books and diaries, this one from a German junior officer, gives an idea of what it was like in just a very small area of the battles for Verdun:
