I’m recuperating from pretty major surgery, but before I went under the robot’s knife last week, I visited Kawasaki Newcastle and put down a deposit on Versys 900SE in green. As soon as the touring pack is announced, that will be added too.

Roll on April 2027.

I was thinking it might be in the garage one day but then I saw the new CF MOTO 550 MT-X

Fabulous. I like the Versys range, and that 900 engine is known to be a peach. Could be a really brilliant bike!

I was running a CB750 Four K back in the day and often jumped on a mate’s Z900, which I always remember being a bit jealous of, but couldn’t afford at that time. I had to wait for my ZX9R before I got one for myself, but it was a very different beast by then.

I’m really looking forward to getting back on one in its latest guise.
