Buy some riding boot with thick soles.
I had some boots that I loved from back in my sports bike days that had a very thin sole. I glued a replacement work boot sole on along with a 10mm slice of rubber. Trimmed down the excess and then finished them off on the belt sander. I called them my Gary Glitter boots.![]()
Daytona make such boots for women (Gore-Tex lady star) and I swear by my pair, gives an extra 3/4" which i really appreciate when riding my KTM. I have no idea if they make them for men though. They're not obvious either as the extra height is swallowed up in the body of the boot.
