I have corrosion on the ABS ring and bolts as well as the rear drive hub. Vines stated that the bike was not clean enough and BMW would not consider the warranty claim. Mate of mine was with me who was interested in either a K12 or a GS12, sales director wouldn't offer a px price on his 1150R so we left.
Arrived at South London, service manager took one look at the corrosion and booked the bike straight in no questions asked. Mate was in the showroom completing a deal on a new GS12 which he will collect next Tuesday.
