Vines of Guildford BMW Service Department Staff Changes

Hello everybody

Firstly for those who do not know me i am Darren Hodgson(Fatboy) i used to head up Vines of Guildford Bike Service from 2004 to 2009 then i moved over to another part of the business, i am now back at Vines Guildford as the Bike Service Manger and i would like to say i am really sorry to all those customers have endured some horrific customer service over the last 7 months since several key members of the team left!

I have been asked to come back and rebuild the trust, faith and restore some common sense back into the department and business!

I am now working with my old sparing partner Cathy who has returned to help the rebuild business with me we have also got a workshop with 2 BMW master technicians, 2 Senior techs and 2 techs to really help get this working back to its best!
This is not going to happen overnight but it will happen and i need your help, i would like anybody who has suffered from this poor service to email me so i can look at each case and see what lessons can be learned and hopefully resolve some of the key issues! Can i ask you to send info to [email protected]

Cathy and myself would love to see some old faces down at the showroom for a coffee and chat at some-point.
I would also like to tell you that as most of you know Vines closed down the bike operation in Caterham/Redhill at the end of October 2013 we now have too much clothing stock and we have put most of it on eBay at some really silly price's so have a look on the website link to the eBay shop.

Had a look for the link on the website but couldn't find it. I'm sure it's just me being a farty old fossil but could you put the link on here please so I can have a butcher's? :rob

I couldn't find it either, but just googled vines eBay shop, and bingo.:thumb

Long lead times for service work and very stressed out staff will hopefully be a thing of the past at Vines soon.:thumb:beerjug:
 
Aah, he's right you know. That's the benefit of being a 'yoof' I suppose.

I went onto ebay & searched for Vines of Guildford. All I got was a load of OS map offerings.....:blast

Hi Darren, welcome back! Have already said hello to Cathy so will see you before too long, good to have the old crew back. You will be seeing my GS LC again once the weather improves to have the switch gear replaced (again)!

Hi Darren pass on my thanks to Cathy, Darren and your mechanic for fitting me in on a Saturday morning to change my switch gear on my GS. Great service!!

Shame your sales department cannot be as good Darren.
Tempted to cancel my GSA order due to the bad customer service. (Ignored call backs etc)
Going to give it some thought this week and see if I can get my bike elsewhere in the same timeframe.
