Please don't say you have a GS12![]()
I was going to get my GSA top box and panniers vinyl wrapped to prevent corrosion and the throwing the foot over scratches.
The company I've spoken to said they'd wrap the boxes and colour code the beak and tank for a reasonable price. The thing is, I have no problem going for a strong, different colour on the tank and beak....but do you think the boxes would look gay being anything but silver or matte black?
. Someone on here has had their (verns panniers?) wrapped.Had this done last week, Reflective black front, sides and tops, reflective red on the back. What do you think?
Came back from Liverpool on Friday and as soon as it got dark I noticed that cars were hanging well back from me.
Can I ask who did your panniers, I am thinking of something similar (promise it wont be a copy!)
it's not just resale, I can't stand a tatty and corroded bike. They do look nice.........
Simon H, I only do 28k a year so cant really comment~ I've only got little stickers a all over mine,
but i do get it Valeted every MOT time.
If your doing that mileage, come sale time in three years plus it wont be worth feck all anyway
David @ Signco 07886362822 in Southampton. I had mine done at the same place as R200GSA costing £120.
If you wrap the whole bike in plastic and leave it in the shed it'll stay perfect.
If you want to ride it I'd suggest that a little bit of weathering should be considered character.
Each unto their own and all that, but it sounds like a tragic waste of money to me![]()

that funny coming from the man with the most bling
