Does anyone know who stocks Vinylkote? It's a vinyl spray paint which alters the pigmentation and so retains the texture and flexibility of the original material. I want to try some on my GS seat, apparently it is good stuff. I've tried Halfrauds and googled it but no joy for a stockist.

No idea myself, but you might want to check out this thread.

I rember that stuff, In my classic car days my mate used it on brown seats to turn them black .worked but after time you could see the brown in places
You can check classic car mags but i would re cover if possable

I phoned the manufacturer, Kolorbond, and they said Vinylkote could only be obtained direct from them now. They quoted me £14.50+vat per can, but said the minimum order qty was 2 cans, and then with postage on top of £12+vat it was getting on for 50 quid. I think I might be better off going down the recover route.
