Waiting for new GS...

Goes like this, always fancied a GS since the 1100 came out in 94.
Had an Africa Twin a few years back, loved it just a little under powered. Stopped been a despatch rider in London 3 years ago, bought a firestorm.....never really did it for me.Test rode GS12 the other day, what can i say bloody fantastic bit of kit. Went straight back to dealer and part ex'd the Firestorm there and then.
Can't wait for it to arrive!
Does anyone know how long it takes from due date( 25/04/05) to actually getting bike?
I've been told production started on 11/04/05.

PS The GS was everything i was hoping for and then some!
Brilliant whether giving it some or just pottering.
Amazing on my favourite Yorkshire Dales back roads.....in a different league to the Firestorm!!!

About 1 week after due date or sooner.

Mine has arrived today at dealers (GS Adventure)...........bang on time at scheduled due date in Week 15.
Pick it up a week on Sat - (23/4) ...........yippee ....although could have picked it up sooner - but busy this weekend

So yours was ready to pick up from dealer 2 weeks after production started?....................I hope mine arrives as quick, i need to get it run in before i go to the NMW200 in May!!

Mine was built 10/3/2005 and it arrived in the dealership 22/3.

I picked "baby" up on the 24th March !!

Now done 1400 very enjoyable miles.....
