Failed to mention the people opposite, either side and the Highways Agency (A3 Intersection).... the Neighbours to the rear are about 1/4 mile away over the A3....

Just in case some of you didn't know, I use this function every time I get in from work at night or in the morning when its dark.

It just keeps the main beam on for ages for you, I roll up on the drive, kill the ignition so I don't piss off the neighbours and wake my babies up! - press the main beam light and it stays on, lighting up my driveway and garage door really well.

Quite a nice useful feature!

The F800GS does the same thing must be a fault in the newer type switch gear
