Ohh weel. Worth a try. Anyhow how do you know it would be terribly cold for Mrs, Snelly? Maybe she a the type who does cold dipping in a Scandinavian fjörd in the middle of winter.

Interested to hear what you think. Room I booked was just €80 for the 2 of us. Looked at the menus. The basic menu was €35 all the way up to the 7 course tasting menu at €87. …. And a few levels in between. Looks outstanding!!!Booked this now. Many thanks for the tip. Much appreciated.

@SOAA @BHT, can this setting be tweaked to a larger file size limit?
After all modern phones can and do take HD photos nowadays with allot of digital data and detail within.
I also struggle sometimes to do same, without having to use a third party app (Tapatalk) or resizing the photos.

Givet is a nice spot for lunch but it’s probably a bit close unless you leave late and don’t have a breakfast. That doesn’t mean you can’t have a coffee in one of the riverside cafes though.

I’d maybe have a look at going something like this. Your original route in magenta, my alternative in black.
This makes things a bit more interesting at the start:
It’s a bit further at 175 miles versus your 150 miles. I have put in a stop at Chimay, 70 miles (or about two hours) from your start point. From Chimay, it then cuts all but directly north on the main road, to pick up your route at Beaumont. You might as well leave that part as is, as it otherwise all gets a bit congested between / around Cambrai, Valenciennes, Lille. To be frank, for this part, you might as well pick up a motorway, rather than studiously avoiding them.
Something like this from Chimay, perhaps?
