Warning - Stolen Clocks (Again)

I'll be expecting to disconnect yours and take them into the hotel, every night......................along with the LED headlight:augie

Hell will freeze over first.
Even if I did would you be there to witness it or are you still on the fence? ;)

Ha

Love to go, but....too early in the year for me to commit, I'm sure hotel availability will be fine ~ just the ferry could be a problem

He also uses another's eBay address in Cheshire, i bidded on some wc wires, a week later he had another set he wanted to sell me outside of eBay, i declined.

There's also this fella whom from enfield he had a couple sets of wheels from a wc + clocks - led headlight, I've had several emails to and fro and he sounds very suspicious, take a look at the surroundings where the pictures are taken, lock up single garage in a council block, so deffo not a business, just a front.

He's also listing a frame from a 2012 gs, the rear subframe is actually from a WC

Tbh i find it hard to believe as to why there are so many wc bikes being broken by private sellers ! and these sellers are repeat sellers of items from these bikes, as the bike itself is still a new model private sellers would not be getting these bike to sell for spares .

contacted the eBay seller asking for chassis number or registration details - response was they came from a friend abroad... dodgy very suspect!

I have just asked him the same question. If no answer I will report him to eBay. I doubt it will make a jot of difference.

clocks are not secured by any bolts, just one circlip and they are yours in 20 seconds. you can use security bolts on LED light - M6x20.
A circlip! Is that all!
Sounds like a bloody stupid idea.
Looks like I will have to etch/scratch the reg number on the rear of the clocks and headlight.

What good will that do?

The thief who has nicked them, will not think oh they're marked.............I'll reattach them and walk away

He'll just say the bike was written off to any puchaser

Havent we something new to get all worked up about yet. I'll keep out of London as my security measure and just relax whilst enjoying the LC. Unfortunately parking any nice bike up all day in most city centres is a potential recipe for disaster, with something broken, damaged or stolen. The way these scumbags can sell their looty unchallenged on ebay shows how seriously our authorities take it, the police cant be arsed, put a video of you speeding on youtube and youre more likely to get raided than the scrotes who are stealing and selling bike parts.

3.5 million items in the motorcycle parts section alone. Yes that's right. Now search other sections and you will see more millions of items. Millions and millions to wade through. Millions.

Are the gs clocks something the millions and millions of officers should be looking for?

Or is it up to eBay to do the filtering and investigating. You should report anything suspicious to eBay first and foremost. They have investigation teams far larger than the police but even eBay can't control this when you look at the sheer numbers on their site.

Millions.

I park in downtown DC daily, just like this:

Never once an issue.

Not all cities are havens for theft. (Of course our elected officials have a monopoly on it!)

Jim
