Not the usual 'Technical Issue' I know.

I have a three-year-old Belstaff goretex M/C jacket in grey & silver. It has all the usual armour and winter lining.

There are no washing / cleaning instructions on it anywhere, so I asked SWMBO to stick it in the washing machine (sans armour and lining).

It now looks a bit better but its not as clean as I had hoped.

Does anyone know how to wash - and re-proof - this type of jacket ?

I have e-mailed Belstaff but haven't had a reply :blast

Many thanks. :thumb

I just washed my Goretex and it didn't come up as clean as I would like...

I've re-proofed it using Nikwax Tech Wash.

If you put it in the tumble dryer on low setting the gentle heat reactivates the natural waterproofness of the goretex... Apparently!

Oh - I made some soufles the other day - they were "just to die for"............. I'll make you some - You'll think they are heavenly :ymca .

Cheers

What goes on behind the doors of your heated and lit garage? :ymca2
