Hi,

I saw a GS Adv last year with a water drinks bottle (a cycling drinks bottle) attached to its crash bars (I think!). Has anyone seem any fitting solutions for a drinks bottle for a non-Adv GS? Looking to attach one for a trip to France in July.

Thanks in advance!

Stick a 2-litre bottle in the top box. It'll stay cooler and shouldn't need filling up during the day. Or get a camel back. Warm water tho'

I have a 2017 GS (non-ADV) with OEM crash bars. The Wunderlich water bottle holder fits perfectly on the rear of the bars, nestled against the engine. Of course, water is tepid on a hot day, though hot coffee never goes cold!

Bottle holder on the crash bars was the best solution I'd thought of so far, but the warming aspect was putting me off. Maybe, as you say, I'll just fill it with coffee! :)

Kriega Hydro3 is my choice.

Will the same holder take a coffee cup ? Can bikes use Costa drive thrus ?

Come on, £45 for a drinks bottle holder. I am sure someone must have adapted a peddle bike bottle and holder ?

What sort of holiday is it if you cant stop every couple of hours to stretch your legs and have a drink?
Surely a bottle of water can be squeezed in panniers or top box
I have a rallye jacket but don't think i'll ever need a camel thingy in it, unless I suddenly become a riding god and enter the Dakar
