Has anyone had a problem with a Nautilus horn getting waterlogged?Just got back from Princetown and the horn has packed in, now it makes a noise like a silent fart:D Any ideas before I take it off for a looksee?
Cheers Dave

Had this happen a few times with the old snail shape horns but not with my Nautilus - I think it is important that the openings are completely facing down and horizontal. Somehow water has got in- did you ride in serious rain? Will probably have to remove and turn upside down.

What a coincidence.

Coming in to work this morning on the M25 some peenarse in a Z3 decides to change lane whist I was parallel with him.

No problem, I just gave him a blast on my horn and he pulled back and then for some twatish reason he waved at me. So in return I gave him the one finger salute, 'nuff said.

I then thought how much better it would have been to 'BLAST' the little twat with a decent horn, better still it may have made him soil his pants!

So, I have a standard horn on my R1100GS, is it worth ditching it for a 'loud 'un' and how simple is the task and finally, which model??

Cheers.

Jon.

:)

Jon,you`ll find lots of different answer to that question, but by way of an answer,I have twin Fiamm airhorns under the beak, with the compressor in the hollow headstock.
LOUD AS FOOK and not a sound car drivers associate with a bike, so a good blast usually results in their head hitting the car roof, before they scurry back to where they were and wait to be twatted by a 30 tonner !! :D :D
